Hi "wax". I've been waiting for someone else to respond but I will request some clarification. It appears that the buffers (anti skip) for various players differ in their protocol. What is it you are doing to these files with "wave corrector"? You didn't mention using WC or at least I didn't see it. I suspect, but certainly don't know for sure, that the buffers use some compression during buffering. Are there any specific "processing steps" that you are using on these files that you can emliminate to see if they are the cause?

Hi Wax,
I read sometime ago about principles of compression for minidisk. It has to do with skipping parts of recording not required by human perception. That may not be interpreted in correct manner by anti-shock CD.
Try analogue or uncompressed digital recording.
