Audio PC Error Problem

Postby Troglodyte » Sun Jan 20, 2008 3:43 am

Hi Audiophiles
Have recently built a new PC with XP Home. When I tried to record with WC an error message appeared that said "A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system".
Has anyone seen this error code before and found a way to fix it.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for your prompt response Derek.

I've since discovered my problem runs deeper however. I'll have to chase out some of the more serious gremlins first. Thanks again.
