"an unnamed file was not found"

Postby renowden » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:25 am

Hi Derek, I seem to be good at finding obscure errors, perhaps it is the weird setup I have. Anyway I can guarantee this is reproducible (sometimes  )

The configuration is as follows. I have output set to mp3 LAME and directed to a shared partition on my NAS drive letter M:

In some circumstances the NAS can vanish and the mount drop - my problem, not yours. However when it does happen and I hit Save then OK I get the error message above which is less than informative. It happens immediately so is when trying to create the WAV file not later when LAME kicks in. Also, unfortunately if you then click on OK you get left with the little "Saving Tracks CANCEL" box which refuses to do anything. I have to kill it with End Process.

I expect it is reproducible by setting output to a drive letter that doesn't exist at all - that should simulate the same situation.
Cheers,

Rick Parsons

Thanks for the report, Rick. I'll track this down and fix it in the next release.
