Batch processing quirk

using WC 3.6r2 on Vista 32
I've noticed when using the Batch command, that on a few occasions, the songs don't appear on the screen, just a punctuation symbol that changes. The symbols I've seen have been a ?, ., /, upside down ?. I normally use Ctrl-A to add all the files at once. Sometimes it works normally and sometimes I get the symbol in the upper left-hand corner. I can still add each single file from within a folder but that's a pain especially when there might be 15-20 files. Like I said, it's quirky. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the report. I'll investigate the problem. However, it may be difficult to track down if I'm unable to reproduce it.

I assume from your description that you are using the Add button to add files. You may find it easier to drag files (or folders) from Windows Explorer. This has the advantage that you can drag a folder into the batch window, and the program will parse the folder's contents, including any sub-folders.

Hi Derek
You're right that I use the ADD button. I click on ADD and it takes me to my file location, hit Ctrl-A to highlight all the files within a folder, hit the OPEN button on that screen and sometimes it works and sometimes not.
Tried your suggestion of dumping the entire folder into the batch file area and that seems to work just fine.
