End of songs getting chopped off

This has only happened a handful of times while processing thousands of tracks, but I wouldn't mind advice on how to fix it. The problem is that sometimes the 'greyed-out' gap between tracks on an album actually contains the very end of the track and despite lots of fiddling I have been unable to restore this material so that I can insert the end of track in the correct position manually. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's difficult to advise because I don't know why this would occur. It's always good practice to check the start and end of each track before saving. The black arrow toolbar buttons let you step between track boundaries. If a track ends prematurely, it should be possible to drag the track boundary (with the mouse) to the correct position. I've never come across a situation where you can't do that. Have you tried to do this?

And is there anything unusual about the recordings that exhibit this problem?

Thanks for the reply Derek. I've sorted it now - before I was trying to move the black markers (in track view) rather than selecting the edge of the black area that appears when you select End Of Track in the corrections list.

Many thanks - an invaluable piece of software by the way.
