Thanks to Wave Corrector! I am very happy your tool can display defects located in some of my WAV files. I believe they occur, cause my hard disk have some defects.

The defects looks like hole of white space in the spectrum. When I listen, its only loud acoustic noise for a while.

Now I need to run batch analyse my 5000 WAV files, but I donĀ“t know how to do that and get a report of that files which are defect. Can you tell me?

In case Wave Corrector cannot locate them, can you add the funtion or tell me, which software can do that?

Below a link to get one example of a defect WAV and the defect mapping the image.

Unfortunately no, you can't do this with Wave Corrector. Sorry.

Wave Corrector is only able to detect vinyl clicks and pops, not the type of noise in the attached file. And anyway, there is no batch analyse function.

I'm also not aware of an alternative program that will do what you require. Perhaps another reader of the forum will be able to suggest something.
