Limiting and compression

First, thank you very much for a great product. I am a former broadcasting technician and your product is very professional.

So here is my wish list for a future edition of Wave Corrector:

I feel the need for a peak limiter and a degree of compression. This would be particularly helpful for speech tracks, where the speaker drones on quietly for a while, then suddenly lets fly and pins the VU (American) or the PPM (BBC). I have often used a fast-attack, fast-release limiter to fix this difficulty. Also, a degree of compression would be nice to have for a similar reason--not as crass as automatic gain control.

These two facilities would make good, listenable speech tracks that are not normalised too low, based on the maximum value.

Perhaps you could set the peak limiter at 3, 6, and 10 dB, and the compressor at similar settings.

Thanks for listening!

Hello Sandy

Thanks for your suggestions and comments and sorry for not replying sooner. I've been rather busy.

I'll see what i can do in the next release.
