Mac OS version

I love WaveCorrector but having moved entirely to a Mac OS environment it's unavailable to me. I could run Windows on a virtual machine but don't find that appealing. Since this forum is just a "wish list", a Mac version of WaveCorrector is my wish.

I can testify that it quite usable under Crossover for Mac. This is not free but it doesn't require a Windows install. Most things work just as they do on a PC, just that some of the furniture looks a bit odd. The only thing that I have found doesn't work is the speed change facility which seems to be down to the Apple Hardware. I believe it may also work using the underlying Wine software but I don't have a lot of experience with that. Search the forum for other posts where small problems have been resolved.

It is possible to run Wave Corrector on a MAC using Codeweavers Crossover. See

There are a couple of threads in the forum that refer:

Crossover is available as a free trial so it may worth your taking a look.

I wasn't aware of Crossover until Rick informed me. And yes it's worth a look and isn't very expensive. Wine itself might be OK but I don't mind paying a bit for a supported product built on it.

Thanks, Derek and Rick, you can consider this thread closed. That is, closed unless the WC developers want to disclose an interest in a Mac port. :-)
