Another option in "saving sessions"

Postby citguy » Sun Feb 06, 2005 9:00 pm

It seems like each day I stumble on a new situation. Today I "recorded" a duo piano recital off of an old master tape and separated the tracks but did not filter yet. I have taken to "saving session" at this point to save myself having to redo stuff later. I discoved that the last three cuts of the 13 were recorded on a different date, with full orchestra and had totally different "room ambiance" than the first 10 recital cuts. It would be nice to have the ability to "select" the tracks (as with the save command) which are similar and save them as a separate session which one then could apply processing. Possible?

Unfortunately, this would be quite difficult to implement and I don't think many users would need it. Have you considered using the batch processing feature? In other words, save the three tracks as separate wave files and then apply filtering, normalising etc as a batch job.
