EQ (Again)

Postby BlackAndWhite » Sun May 22, 2005 8:32 pm

Dearest Group,

I am now the owner of a shiny new copy of Wave Corrector! A good decision me thinks.

My wish:

I would like to be able to switch the EQ so the x scale would be in octave bands rather a linear scale. The EQ would then follow the ear characteristics better and (I think) easier to use.

Derek, can you alter your reverse FFT to do this??

Regards

Yes, I've been working on the graphic equaliser interface. I can see the advantage of a logarithmic frequency display. However, because the filter consists of linearly spaced sections, I've kept to a linear display, at least for the time being.

I have however, provided an expanded view of the low frequency end which makes the filter much easier to adjust. I've also added keyboard shortcuts for the adjusting functions and various other improvements. You'll see them in the next beta when it's released.
