Derek

I've just downloaded the new beta and had a quick play with it. I confirm you have fixed the bug with the wave/track buttons I reported before, Thanks.

I like the new time scale feature at the bottom of the main window but I noticed there seems to be a small offset between the values shown on this scale and those reported in the old 'cursor position' box and the 'marker position in the corrections list ( the latter pair agree with eachother). The offset appears to be a fairly constant 0.027 seconds (plus or minus a rounding error) independent of the horizontal scale so it is possible for the value shown in the cursor position box to be outside the range of values on the new scale. (In case it makes a difference I am running under XP with sp2 and all latest patches)

Apart from this quirk the new scale looks good to me.

Hi Ray

Yes the times in the scale at the bottom are track times; ie it shows the time into the current track. The time in the cursor position box shows the time from the start of the file. The start of track 1 marker is always offset a little from the start fo the file. This is to ensure that the track lengths are an exact multiple of the CD frame size of 588 samples. Hence the discrepancy.

So it's a feature, not a bug :)

all the best
