Unwanted recording deletion?

Postby John Pettit » Thu Apr 03, 2008 12:31 pm

Hi Derek,

Just come back to my project and have forgotten something quite basic!

I set my disc to record to WaveCorrector but went out before the record had finished. When I came back and stopped the recording I had nearly two hours recorded after the disc had stopped playing. How do I delete this unwanted 'non-recording' from the saved files?

I have saved the three tracks from the LP, and it shows an 'end of track' marker prior to the unwanted stuff. Times show for the three tracks correctly, but 'all tracks' shows a total time of about 135 minutes (tracks 1-3 total about 24 minutes).

Help gratefully received as always,

John Pettit :(

Hello John

If I understand you correctly, you don't need to do anything. Your three wanted tracks are being saved correctly and the unwanted section at the end of the recording is not being saved. Once you have saved the three corrected tracks (and you are sure they have been satisfactorily corrected), you can delete the original uncorrected wave file.

If I've misunderstood, please get back to me.
