Recording Streaming Audio

Postby KeithR » Thu Nov 03, 2005 8:07 pm

Probably not a WaveCor problem but people here may know what went wrong.

I was using WaveCor to record a radio programme streamed from a radio station's website. It was about half an hour long. About half way through there was a minute or two where the audio was very slooooooooowwww, followed by a short silent period and then back to normal speed.

Any clues on what went wrong? Heaps of RAM and disc space but only a dial-up connection. TIA

Hi Keith. I used to have that problem all the time when I was on 'dial up'. DSL has pretty much resolved it. I'm fairly sure it relates to the available bandwidth on your connection.
