Hi Glenn
Thanks for the feedback.
The new session file properties works very well also, thank-you. Just a minor note on that: In the applied filters listed, the graphics filter is an unintelligible list of characters, at least on my machine. Don't know if that's an issue or not; on session files without click corrections there are no listed filters at all.
Can you email me a couple of these problem session files and I'll try to find out what's going wrong. They definitely shouldn't be doing what you report
The new track view is an interesting development. I haven't figured out how it works yet but that will come in time. At present, opening a session file that contains only track boundaries disables the wave button. For some reason, I have to double-click the waveform window to bring in the new view, and only from there do the wave/track buttons work.
You can't select waveform view when you have a track boundary selected. However, you can now scroll away from the boundary position and then the waveform view becomes available.
Also, I'm not able to disable the vertical scale in the new view. One other thing: Whilst in the new view the play/stop buttons resume playback from the last cursor position, similar to pause/unpause. I don't know if this is intentional or not but seems odd to me. On first playback it always starts from the vertical scale marker.
Yes the vertical scale problem is an oversight on my part. Thanks for pointing it out.
There are now two play buttons, one to play from start and one to play from cursor. When playback stops, it leaves behind a cursor so you can resume from that point if required. This has been asked for by a number of users. The problem before was that once playback had stopped, there was no record of where you had got to.
