This is a minor problem which is present in 3.6r2 as well as 3.7 beta 4.
I prefer to record at 44.1 kHz 24 bit however the hiss reduction filter (14dB) doesn't work with these settings.
(It's obvious if I audition through headphones that no correction is being made)
The noise sample has been correctly adjusted.
This applies whether the recording is made in WC or another program and then imported.
If I record at 96 kHz 24 bit then the hiss reduction is applied correctly.
I know I could record at 96 kHz and then down sample on export (my sound card doesn't support 88.2 kHz).
However I prefer 44.1 kHz as my recordings will be transferred to CD and the original file is smaller for archiving purposes. A 24 bit recording gives me some headroom to normalise etc.
Vinyl click correction seems to work as expected but I'd be grateful if you would confirm this is correct.
Many thanks
Richard.
